David Argent Guitars are hand crafted to perfection. A high standard of finish enhances the visual appeal of the instrument. Care is taken during the construction of the instrument to ensure maximum playability and comfort. A notable feature of David’s Guitars, which all players love, are the sweet tone, powerful volume and solid sustain. David’s Guitars retain a strong traditional sound whilst using a Lattice Braced soundboard and an Arched Back.

David builds using both Cedar and Spruce soundboards, according to the players preference. A new Rosette design has been introduced to his guitars, beginning 2006, displaying the Sturt’s Desert Pea (South Australia’s Floral Emblem). The fingerboard and neck are reinforced to ensure the stability of the neck and action of the guitar. David has developed specialized techniques which add strength to the body of the guitar. All David Argent Guitars are finished using an acrylic lacquer. After spraying, the guitars are cut back by hand, then buffed to a high gloss. The finish is highly durable, easily cleaned, and helps protect the timber; ultimately protecting a quality investment.
